Our compostable lids guarantee optimal coffee quality. Closely mimicking aluminum lids, they offer the same extraction conditions.

The lid's paper is corn starch-based, making it compostable according to NF 13432 standard.

Furthermore, our compostable lids are developed and made in France by our partner in Saint Séverin.

The adhesive used with our lids is food-safe and simply adheres to the rim of the reusable capsule.

Nespresso® compatible reusable capsules, reusable over 1000 times, are specially designed not to damage your Nespresso® machine's needles. They are 24.3 mm high, 37 mm in diameter, and made of food-grade stainless steel.

The compostable paper lids are capable of guaranteeing optimal coffee extraction, creating a beautiful crema and well-filtered coffee. Your coffee will not be altered, and you will get the same result as with disposable capsules, without the associated inconvenience of price and pollution.

Difference between competitor products and CAPS'ME:

• The Nespresso® shaker / Dolce Gusto® coffee box: Our filling systems are designed, invented, and patented by us, the two engineer founders of Caps'me. It is therefore not possible to find these mechanisms elsewhere. Our competitors offer filling capsules with a spoon, which is not practical at all. It makes a mess, takes too much time, and is not efficient for dosing and tamping the coffee. As engineers, we wanted to create a tool that facilitates the transition to reusable capsules. Our shaker (Nespresso®) and our box (Dolce Gusto®) store ground coffee and, in addition, refill your capsules cleanly, with the right tamping and, most importantly, the correct dose of coffee for zero waste.
• Stainless steel capsules: We redesigned existing capsules on the market to create one that is slightly smaller (so as not to damage your machine) and pre-perforated so as not to damage your machine's needles. In addition, the material is food-grade stainless steel, so they are indestructible and safe for the body, unlike disposable aluminum capsules which can leave carcinogenic residues in the body.
• The lids: Caps'me's lids are made of compostable starch-based paper, meaning they degrade naturally and are food-safe. Furthermore, this material was entirely invented by us to perfectly reproduce the coffee extraction provided by a real Nespresso® coffee capsule, thus guaranteeing a beautiful crema and good coffee. Whereas aluminum capsules offered by the market can leave aluminum residues in the coffee, which are harmful to health. Why did we not opt for reusable stainless steel lids? Simply because they do not guarantee coffee foam or good extraction, and at Caps'me, we wanted to make the reusable capsule filling process easier for you without affecting the coffee's taste, because our customers' pleasure and satisfaction are paramount to us.
