Cross No. 2 – Raw Earthenware Wall Sculpture

This raw earthenware cross is an authentic creation entirely handcrafted in the Argi’Lys workshop, located in Wervicq‑Sud, in the heart of the Lille metropolitan area. Created by the artisan Aleksandra Nagadowska‑Henaux, it embodies the purity of gesture and the nobility of the material.

Modeled in earthenware intentionally left raw, the piece reveals the natural texture of the clay and the sensitivity of manual work. The silhouette of Christ, sculpted in slight relief, is part of a sober and contemporary aesthetic, offering a gentle, timeless, and deeply human spiritual presence.

Each cross is a unique piece or part of a very small series, testifying to the artisanal expertise and artistic demands of its creator. It is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, attesting to its origin and its creation in the Argi’Lys workshop.
